About Delisi

Delisi is an underground station on Line 2 (Saburtalo, the green line) of the Tbilisi Metro, opened in 1979. It anchors the Delisi neighbourhood, a largely residential pocket of the wider Saburtalo district.

The area around the station is everyday and lived-in, with local markets and a number of shopping points drawing residents from the surrounding apartment blocks. Delisi is also a useful interchange with surface transport: minibuses fan out from here into upper Saburtalo and toward the Vake district, making it a practical jumping-off point for the hillier neighbourhoods that the metro itself does not reach.

As a green-line stop, Delisi links this residential quarter eastward toward the centre and westward to the modern districts at the end of Line 2.
